Nadamillas' privacy policy

Nadamillas is an Android app (from now on, the app), created by dev::baltasarq (the author, from now on). The author1 can be reached for enquiries about privacy or any other kind.

The purpose of this app is to take into account all training sessions in the life of a swimmer, either in open waters or at the pool. For that, it needs to store the training session's data in its database.

  1. It is not in the aims of the author through the app (or by any other means), to systematically or otherwise collect or share private data from individuals.
  2. The personal and sensible information this application has access to, does only include that that is asked to the user:
    • For any swimming session, the app does only input information about the distance, time, date, and scenario (open waters or pool). This is needed for the app to achieve its advertised objectives. With these data, the app will be able to calculate values such as the distance totals for a month a week or a year, among other advertised data which are also part of the objectives of the app. All this information is stored in the user's phone internal storage from where the user can retrieve it to obtain graphics and summary information from the sessions carried out.
  3. As mentioned earlier, all sensible information is stored in the phone's private storage, so no one except for the user herself can access them.
  4. Again, the user's data sits in the phone private storage, which means that, on uninstalling the app, its whole data is removed. The user can also remove individual training sessions at any time.
  5. The app does not need or ask for any sensitive permission, such as localization, since it simply does not use that kind of data.
  6. The app was designed for personal use only. The swimming session's data belongs to the user and the author does not access it, store it anyhow, or claim its ownership. Neither the app nor the author share this information with anyone.
